About this project Logistics Management Dashboard (Power BI) Overview: Developed a 4-page interactive dashboard in Power BI to optimize logistics operations, leveraging a dataset of 300 orders (Jan–June 2024) provided by Thomas Kumah Mawuli. The dashboard delivers actionable insights through dynamic filters, scrollable reports, and visually intuitive charts, enabling stakeholders to monitor order performance, transportation efficiency, and warehouse operations. Key Features: Order Management: Visualizes order statuses (88% Delivered, 9% Backordered, 3% Cancelled), regional trends, and delivery performance across North, West, South, and East. Transportation: Tracks carrier performance (UPS, FedEx, DHL, Local) with freight costs ranging from $42.07 to $151.59 and a 61% on-time delivery rate. Warehouse Inventory: Monitors picking accuracy (avg. 97.5%), inventory levels (100–991 units), and capacity usage (50–95%). Tabular Report: A scrollable, filterable summary of all orders (ORD1000–ORD1299), detailing costs, delivery dates, and product categories. Key Insights: North and West regions led order volume (92 and 86 orders, respectively), with Electronics and Furniture as top categories. UPS (108 orders) and FedEx (85 orders) dominated, while Local carriers offered cost-effective shipments (e.g., ORD1009, $68.47). February and April were peak months (54 and 55 orders), with an average delivery time of 5.2 days. Warehouse efficiency excelled, with picking accuracy averaging 97.5% and capacity peaking at 95% (e.g., ORD1028). Impact: The dashboard empowers decision-makers to optimize logistics by identifying high-cost carriers, regional demand patterns, and warehouse bottlenecks.
