My goal was to create an executive-ready Power BI dashboard that helps policymakers understand how Artificial Intelligence is transforming labour markets across countries, industries and skill categories between 2021 and 2024. Key Findings: AI Adoption Surge: AI adoption accelerated after the emergence of Generative AI, marking a significant shift in how organisations integrate AI into workforce processes. Net Job Deficit: Workforce displacement exceeded job creation across the analysed period, resulting in a negative net employment balance. Concentrated Risk: The highest labour market pressure is concentrated in highly automatable industries and routine-based skill categories. Global Readiness Divide: Countries show significant differences in AI readiness, with more developed economies generally benefiting from stronger digital infrastructure and AI maturity. Reskilling Gap: Reskilling investment does not always match displacement pressure, highlighting gaps between workforce disruption and preparation efforts. Targeted Action Needed: Strategic investment in workforce reskilling remains critical and should focus on the industries, regions and skill groups most vulnerable to AI-driven disruption.
